Santa arrived in Crestwood! Thank you for joining us for an afternoon and evening of holiday fun and giving! The weather was great (even if a tad chilly) and we hope everyone enjoyed the festivities.
If you could not attend, visit our Facebook page to view a photo gallery of the day’s events.
But Christmas in Crestwood is not over yet!
We still have two contests going on through the end of the year:
- Santa visited twelve locations in Crestwood and he left us clues. Our Where’s Santa? Photographic Scavenger Hunt is underway. Follow the Clues to all of the places Santa visited, replicate the Clue Photo, and submit your entry for a chance at a prize package of Goods and Services from Crestwood Businesses with a minimum value over $1,000.
- This year, in honor of Crestwood’s 75th Anniversary this year, we are asking Students and Adults to write an essay describing what you love about Crestwood. Everyone has a different reason why they love Crestwood. Maybe it’s just one thing, maybe it’s several things. Whatever your thing is, tell us for a chance to win age-appropriate goods and services from Crestwood Businesses with a minimum value over $200!

Our Santa Car Cruise, with a myriad of vehicles brought smiles and Santa to Crestwood. Traveling through all four wards in Crestwood, the route featured Crestwood Fire and Police vehicles escorting Santa as well as an entourage of classic cars and decked out vehicles. Residents enjoyed the caravan of fun from their front yard or along a nearby street.

After the parade, hundreds of families headed over to St. Raymond-St. Elizabeth Church, 1420 Sappington Road, to contribute to the Christmas in Crestwood annual food drive. Thanks to our generous Crestwood businesses, for each donation of five (or more) non-perishable food items, we were able to give one child’s goody bag brimming with great stuff. 200 Goody Bags were available on a first come basis.

The Goody Bag Food Drive allows us to continue to support local food pantries while providing children with our traditional goody bag of Crestwood fun! Food items will be donated to the First Baptist Church of Crestwood Food Pantry and St. Raymond-St. Elizabeth Church’s Food Pantry.

The evening was topped off with a spectacular fireworks display by Brilliant Skies Fireworks, sponsored by Tom Streib and Streib Company at 6:30 in the St. Raymond-St. Elizabeth Church ball field. Pick your favorite vantage point in Crestwood to enjoy a spectacular show while still appropriately social distancing.
Preceding the fireworks, the Christmas in Crestwood Jollification Specialists took a few moments to remember Sue Bremehr, our founder and leader who passed away on September 21, 2021 — to celebrate Sue’s life and dedication to Crestwood! You can read the message and commitment to continue Sue’s passion on our About page.
Special thank you to Brilliant Skies Fireworks for their bright and cheerful pyrotechnics again this year.
